Prize Competition — Important
All prizes are awarded through the Danish BrunnerCTF competition.

Prize placement is determined exclusively by the Danish scoreboard. To be eligible, your team must meet the Danish residency requirement and comply with the strict no-AI policy.

If your team does not meet these requirements, please participate in the open Global competition instead.

Prize Eligibility

To receive a positional or writeup prize, a team must:

  • Be eligible for and participate in the Danish competition.
  • Have at least one team member whose current permanent residence is in Denmark.
  • Comply with all Danish competition rules, including the strict no-AI policy.
  • If awarded a physical prize, have a qualifying member willing to provide their full name, Danish shipping address, Danish phone number, and email address.
AI Compliance
AI use is not permitted in the Danish competition.

This includes using AI for inspiration, ideas, hints, research, analysis, debugging, code generation, or any other challenge-related assistance.

Violations may result in solves being invalidated and the team being disqualified and therefore ineligible for prizes. See the complete AI policy.

Prize Distribution

Each qualifying team member receives one of each applicable prize in the team's prize pool, up to a maximum of 5 of each prize per team, regardless of team size.

The SagaLabs 1st-place prize package is one complete sponsor prize consisting of up to 5x SagaLabs hoodies, one 3,000 DKK Proshop gift card, and one case of Monster Energy. The hoodies are provided for qualifying team members subject to the five-person limit, while the gift card and Monster Energy case are awarded once to the team.

Writeup Prizes

The organizers will select the 3 best eligible writeups based on a competition after the CTF. One BrunnerCTF 2026 water bottle will be awarded to the author of each selected writeup.

Shipping

Physical prizes will be shipped after the CTF to a qualifying team member living in Denmark. Prizes will not be shipped outside Denmark.

Sponsor Restrictions

Campfire Security subscriptions can only be redeemed by EU residents and are not transferable.
